Donkey Kong Country Cheat Codes

Donkey Kong Country features a number of codes that can be entered to modify your game and access secret features.

In order to unlock most cheat codes, you’ll need to visit the game selection screen, and then highlight the ‘Erase Game’ option so that it’s flashing.

Once this is done, you’ll need to enter the cheats detailed below for the desired option to unlock, which will result in the sound of an Extra Life collected when entered correctly.

The exception can be found with the Bonus Stage cheat code, which can be entered during the opening of the game, when Cranky Kong is shown playing his gramophone and is interrupted by Donkey Kong’s Boom Box.
