This place was a resort?

From the entrance of Spiller’s Harbor, head south until you exit the fenced area, collecting a note (1) as you do so. You’ll want to turn left now which will take us to the beach, however, before we head down to the sun-speckled shores, we’ll rescue our first Jinjo. As you head left toward the beach you’ll notice a Germuloid just to the south; Defeat it by tapping the control stick left and right very quickly. Once you’ve done that head further south and you’ll bump into some barrels, jump over the barrels and you’ll notice a sewer grating and a trapped Jinjo underneath if you nudge just a little bit farther ahead. Let’s free him shall we? To break the grate you’ll need to execute your Bill Drill on top of it, once the lid falls through drop down and collect the Jinjo (1). From the Jinjo prison you’ll notice a single note on an island in the water, use your Flip-Flap ability to escape the sewer and jump off the jetty to collect the note (2). Execute another Flip-Flap to get back on the land. Time for a tan I’d say, let’s go down to the beach by heading north and then left once you meet the Germuloid to enter Bilge Haven.

A Golden Glow to Protect Banjo: Wonderwing Ability

Head down the staircase and then drop off to the south once you’ve reached the bottom. Sticking to the stairs, follow them to the right and you’ll locate Bozzeye’s next molehill. At 310 notes required we’re well ahead with 370, but that trend won’t last for long… Speaking to Bozzeye will earn us our next ability: The Wonderwing! The Wonderwing Ability grants Banjo and Kazooie invincibility for a limited time. To execute the Wonderwing you’ll need to find a red pad with the picture of a Gold Feather on it and press A. Once you’ve done that you’re free to run around completely invulnerable until such time as you end the protective power by pressing L or you run out of Golden Feathers. Once Bozzeye has finished he’ll give you a full inventory of Gold Feathers. Head to your immediate left and you’ll find a Sandcastle, jump onto of it and grab a Coin (1); This will come in handy later. While we might not have gotten that much sun, we’ll leave the beach and come back later, head back up the stairs and head right.

Spiller’s Harbor

Once we’ve returned to the harbor we’ll head up to the right by the fenced area, once there you’ll manage to see a yellow and red barrel right next to the entrance. By exploring behind it you’ll uncover a Note Nest which will add 5 notes to your total (7). You should manage to spot a Germuloid just to the south, defeat it and jump onto the elevated platform to collect the note (8). Head up to the north but do not head up the stairs, instead venture to the right and collect the Egg Nest (13) on top of the elevated platform next to the railing.

You should manage to spot a few blue birds flapping angrily around an Ice Cream van just to the right, these birds are called “Maggies” and they’ll dive-bomb into you if you’re not on your guard, taking away a precious unit of honey energy. They can be easily taken care of in a single hit if you execute a well-timed Rat-A-Tat Rap when they’re close enough.
Once you manage to down all 3 Maggies a friendly face will appear inside the Ice Cream Van, let’s head in front and talk to the owner, Alfred P. Cock. He’ll tell you that the Maggies have been driving away all of his customers and now that they’re gone he’s willing to reward you if you name the price.

Naturally Banjo should ask for a Jiggy, as expected from every good deed. However, with the hot sun beaming down on his noggin Banjo simply asks for a Mr. Drippy Cone. Alfred P. Cock even adds in an free squirt of Raspberry Juice, I hope it was worth it Banjo…
Banjo seals the deal by stuffing the cone unorthodoxly into his backpack where we can assume it will eventually melt all over Kazooie, carrying on…
Let’s head around the rear of the van to the right and climb the staircase behind Mr. Drippy’s and then continue north into town.
