Banjo-Tooie

Two years have passed since Gruntilda the witch was defeated by Banjo and Kazooie at the top of her tower in the last adventure, which saw the old hag tumble down the escarpment and end her descent in Spiral Mountain. Fruitlessly trying to shift the massive boulder that had followed her down and kept her at bay, Gruntilda is finally rescued from her grave by her equally repulsive sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda. Looking even worse than she usually does, the two years spent rotting underneath the stone hasn’t done wonders for Gruntilda who has been reduced to a skeleton of her former self. Vowing revenge against the bear and breegul duo, Grunty uses her wicked magic to wreak havoc on Spiral Mountain, which culminates in destroying Banjo’s house, killing poor Bottles the mole in the process… Losing precious ground after the three sisters flee to their castle hideaway atop the Isle o’ Hags, Banjo, Kazooie and Mumbo Jumbo find themselves thrown into their newest adventure following Gruntildas trail in hopes to restore Bottles and take out the witch a second and final time. They’ll have to be quick though, as Grunty and her sisters plan on draining the whole island of its energy to restore her body back to normal…
