Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

After an eight year hiatus spent lazing about and celebrating after Gruntilda’s latest defeat in Banjo-Tooie, Banjo and Kazooie have used the lengthy period of peace to take an extended vacation from their adventuring roots. Not seen taking any such break of the sort is Gruntilda, who has used her time to bounce fervently back to Spiral Mountain after their last meeting left her as a disembodied head. Before a fight can break loose between the duo and their arch-nemesis Gruntilda – who both seem rather unfit for the task – their endless squabbling attracts the attention of the Lord Of Games, an all powerful being behind the creation of all video games who wishes to settle things once and for all. He proposes to transport them to a land of his creation, Showdown Town, which plays host to the impressively sized game worlds of Nutty Acres, Banjoland, LOGBOX 720, Jiggoseum and the Terrarium of Terror in a final game to end their constant feuding. The winner of this contest will earn the deed to Spiral Mountain, whilst the loser shall toil in the production line of LOG’s Video Game Factory for the rest of eternity.
