MISSION 6: ST. PETERSBURG – STAGE 2: ARCHIVES

Background: Captured again by the Russians, Bond must escape their prison.

Objectives:
1- Escape from the Interrogation Room (Agent)
2- Find Natalya (Agent)
3- Recover the Helicopter Flight Recorder (Secret Agent)
4- Escape with Natalya (Agent)

M Briefing: Again? Captured again? I hope you can defend your performance, 007, becaus there isn’t a lawyer in the land who’d take on the case. Your only chance is to speak directly to Defense Minister Mishkin. He’s a reasonable man, for a member of the Politburo. Failure is not an option, Bond.

Q Branch: Up to you to get out of this one, 007. I can’t hold your hand all the time. By the way, get that flight recorder for me, would you? Thanks.

Moneypenny: Banged up again, James? Now you what it’s like to be trapped behind a desk, and I’m off out to the theatre with a gentleman tonight. How times change!

MISSION 6: ST PETERSBURG – STAGE 2: ARCHIVES – MAPS

These declassified maps from MI6 give a satellite view of the Archives – our intelligence has also taken great care to provide internal blueprints for any area that our cameras haven’t been able to peer inside of, giving you complete visibility of every location in your mission. Crucial provisions like Body Armor and hidden Weapons have also been detailed inside the dossier, along with other points of interest during the assignment.
Click here to expand the dossier and take a closer look at the maps provided within.
You may use these maps before the mission starts to familiarize yourself with the region, and refer to them throughout as you need them.
Good luck, 007!

GRU MILITARY INTELLIGENCE ARCHIVES, ST. PETERSBURG

Kidnapped again? MI6 isn’t going to be too happy when you get back the England! You’ve been detained as a spy by the Russian defense minister, and are being interrogated secretly in the military archives of the previous Soviet Union. They think that you’re responsible for Severnaya and the missing satellite, but you know that Ourumov is behind this! You’re innocent!

There are two methods of escape: The first is to use your magnetic watch ability to collect your gun and ammo and shooting everyone to escape. Guards will hear this, though, and come in by the dozen to disable you. The other method is to swiftly and efficiently use your bare hands to kill your captors. Guards will not notice this, so as you grab your weapons, you have the element of surprise. Either way, with your gun, walk out of the interrogation room and run.

Natalya must be found. Now, head to the right and go up the stairs. On the second floor, take a left after securing your safety from enemies. There is a door at the far end of the hallway. Go through it. Be sure to shoot every enemy in here before going left. Make your way to the door at the far end of this room. Go through that and pick off all soldiers in here. Navigate to the far end of this room through the book stacks. Open the single door (the one right next to the double door on an angle). Kill all the guards keeping Natalya in here.

Natalya isn’t the combat type like you are, so she will run fearfully away from the action. Follow her to wherever she hides (usually the attic). Just stand in front of her and she will talk and begin to follow you. From where you found Natalya, go across the hall to the left corner and pass through the double door. Go down the stairs directly in front of you.

From this big, nearly empty room, go to the far right corner. Next, walk through the door directly to your left, then the one directly to your right. Follow this hallway around the corner and enter the door. Defense Minister Mishkin will be in here, and after a short dialogue, he will give you the key to the safe. Open the safe and grab the flight recorder. Make sure to watch the door here, because enemies like to flood in, and since this room is packed with explosives, a few stray bullets could mean the end.

Exit this room; walk back through this hallway and through the door. Instead of going back through the left, approach the windows here. Shoot the first one open and step through. This is your escape. If Natalya is not with you, you will have to go find her in the attic. She’s a pain, isn’t she?
