Former Sony exec. joins Microsoft, oversees Rare
Ex-Sony supremo Phil Harrison has joined Microsoft in the (deep breath) Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) leadership team as corporate vice president. The announcement highlights his emphasis will be on growing the division’s European business. So much, so meh but what is interesting is that part of his remit will be to oversee UK-based software greats Lionhead and our beloved Rare. What will this overseeing of Rare bring? We look forward to finding out.
